I posted a thread about the Highland Park Store (Chicago) having 94 of them three weeks ago. That makes me think that they are still going to add even more very soon. Maybe they are judging demand at this point, just like we are.

I am thinking of waiting one year until I can get a used 85D or an inventory 85D at that time. I have had all wheel drive for my last two cars and I don't think I can go back -- also heated steering wheel is probably the best thing ever made in a car.

I placed an order for a p85 on Friday night and I'm now starting to get cold feet because these cars aren't really flying off the shelves like I thought.

The car I picked out is a 2013 pearl white p85 with tech, sound studio package, gray performance seats, third row seats, panoramic roof, smart air suspension, 21 inch grey rims, carbon fiber interior and carbon fiber spoiler.

66k price... Should I keep it? Thanks guys.

Forgot to mention it's got 25k miles on it. And of course comes with 4 year 50k miles warranty starting the day I pick it up.

Also forgot to add the vin is in the 7500 range

Can you see this car in person? I am very far from any Tesla store so I can't see any car in person. Therefore my biggest concern is that the cheapest cars (like there are cars with similar miles, equipment and vin for thousands more) actually are in poor condition. Otherwise I can't understand why there would be the other cars that are essentially the same but cost thousands more. CPO cars from any brand can be in poor condition. E.g. non-black seats can get dirty really easily if the previous owner had dirty kids, dogs, etc... and there's no way you can clean them up. There may be minor chips and scratches in various spots. And most importantly, how's the battery? Did the previously owner frequently charged it to 100% without using the car, drive really harshly down to below 10%? These are facts we do not know but Tesla knows since they have the battery data. For any car at least I would ask what the current rated 100% charged mile is. Maybe the 66k car now only has <250 left while the 71k car with essentially the same options still has 260... who knows...

These CPO cars are very tempting, down in the price range that I can deal with. I've got a BMW that I would need to unload, it's owned free and clear and worth around 20k on trade in. Wife and I will be discussing this evening. I also had the thought of just waiting until some P85D's hit the list once the X comes out.

Ok, I've fixed the Consolidated CPO report to properly indicate "trim" (S60/S85/P85/P85+), as well as cleaned up some of the other columns and missing data.

Here's the link: Tesla CPO Consolidator

There are new cars being added pretty frequently. There were just 8 cars added to the NY area within the last hour. Just click on the "Date Added" column to sort by most recently added.

There's also a new table at the bottom that shows cars that have been sold and no longer appear on the CPO website. Since this morning, two cars have been removed.

And one more car sold while I was writing this post.

Speaking of which, Tesla encodes all the options in the HTML I'm pulling down, but I can't decode these. If anyone has a lookup table of option codes like below, can you please send it to me, and I may be able to enhance the reporting tool?

AD02,AU01,BC0R,BS00,CDM0,CH00,CW00,CW01,DRLH,DSH5,DV2W,FG01,FG02,HP00,IDLW,IX00,LP00,LP01,ME02,MS02,PA00,PF01,PK01,PS00,PX00,PX01,QPMB,QZMG,RENA,RFPO,SC01,SP00,SR01,SU01,TM00,TP01,TR00,TR01,UTAW,WTSG,WTTB,WTX0,WTX1,X001,X003,X007,X011,X013,X019,X024,X027,X028,X031,X037,YF00

This is fantastic! I'm glad I got in when I did because I was able to lock in an awesome deal prior to the site going live :) Delivery on Thursday now to allow for some curb rash to be fixed on the rims.

It will be interesting to see what happens to the inventory number is the TSLA Q1 report with all of these trade-ins being stockpiled to support the CPO program. The shorts were claiming that the increase in FGI during Q4 was because new car supply was outpacing demand and so there was a buildup in inventory. I'm willing to bet it was the beginning of the CPO inventory buildup. If so, the number will be even higher in Q1 since they are just beginning the CPO sales process in earnest.

FWIW you are _not_ able to add accessories to the final MVPA on a CPO vehicle. I wanted to finance in the 21" turbines however I was told that isn't an option and that I'd need to pay cash for them up front.

Are you going with Tesla financing? I've typically use outside financing and each lender I've worked with previously let me get a loan over the purchase price and they just cut two checks - one to the seller and the other to me. Is that not an option? For my purchase, I got approved for the loan at $68k on the $57k car. This should cover taxes, HPWC, electrician, wrap, coating, tinting, etc.

Btw, as it seems you will be the first to get a CPO, how goes reviewing the car and such? On new cars, you get to check it out at delivery with a fine tooth comb. Inventory cars get a full walk around from the home store of the vehicle before it get shipped. The CPO cars barely have any info on them, and I was told no walk around, so I'm working off the assumption I get a review upon delivery like new. How are they handling your delivery and other details? I submitted a Tesla app on Friday night, still haven't heard a peep about their financing. I haven't heard/been assigned a delivery specialist, so I don't know when my car will even leave Tyson's Corner. Wondering if I should start making some calls? I thought I would give them the weekend, but now we are 4 days after putting down the deposit and I thought I would have heard something by now.

I used US Alliance and got an awesome rate. I'd assume Tesla is busy as hell however my DM has been in constant contact with me. I've also been very persistent, squeakiest wheel right :) The S60 I got for $61k and approved for $71k so I'd have to ask if that's an option which I'm sure it is.

Why would they tell you no walk around? That makes no sense. What location told you that? I've already done a walk around a pointed out several things that are being fixed, keep in mind there wear and tear is very minimal as mine is a 2014 S60.

When I looked at USAlliance's site, they're rates seems high. DCU is giving me 1.49%. I called the rep I took a test drive in Florida. He said no walk around since the CPOs are conditioned to such high levels. My local store isn't open yet, but the service center side of it is. I'm tempted to walk in and see if someone there would be doing my delivery and could get some of those details. Either that or call the Tyson's location and ask them for the walk around. That said, I'm ok if I see it in person and can say what needs to be fixed. Just worried to get a poor condition (I'm a low VIN 2013) car and being told to live with it or walk.

You wouldn't want to swing back to Tyson's again, would you? Are you picking up there on Thursday?

I think Cyclone meant "no walkaround at the CPO car's pre-shipping location". Obviously you get to inspect before closing the deal (as you did).

What I'm curious about is what happens if you refuse to accept the car, due to dents, paint damage, etc - do you loose you deposit?

Again, awesome, thanks. One request? Could you add a download link to pull down as a CSV? I'd like to be able to import into excel to do fancy sorting (ie, sort by trim, then year to easily find all the 2014 P85+'s, for instance). I figure that's easier than asking you to implement more complicated sorting.

When i looked early yesterday i saw one or two P85s with Autopilot in the LA/SF areas. Looking today I don't see any. I bet they are going much faster than the huge selection of non auto pilots. Perhaps deeper discounts are in store for non's.

Interesting since I really enjoy driving my car that having the Model S drive itself would be so appealing to some people:wink:

I enjoy driving my car too. But the main reason i waited for auto pilot was the traffic aware cruise control or TACC. My older cars had it back in 2013 and its a feature i love for highway driving where you are really only following a car for hundreds of miles. It's a must have in my opinion.

The highway steering is cool but not a must... At least not yet.

What I'm curious about is what happens if you refuse to accept the car, due to dents, paint damage, etc - do you loose you deposit?.

The PS I talked to wasn't sure about stuff, with this being such a new program, but he suspected if you refused delivery, that you would likely be able to move your deposit to another vehicle.

What he is checking into, but believes you can't do, is delay the delivery by any significant amount of time. The last lease payment on my Chevy Volt is in August, so it looks like I will have two cars (and associated payments) over the whole summer when I really would prefer not to have that. July delivery would have been awesome, giving me enough time to Tint/Opticoat etc. while still having the Volt available - maybe I jumped the gun a bit and was too worried with Tesla about having no car at all for a while.
