Agree. Boone and/or Banner Elk would be more helpful. That and Lewisburg/White Sulfer Springs WV. But I am thinking about skiing season.

I last commented here (on this particular thread) about 5 1/2 years ago...but now there are 20 times as many Teslas on the road, how about a Supercharger in Lewisburg, WV.

I expect Supercharger construction to continue unabated. It will be less about geographic coverage and route coverage, particularly from west of the Mississippi to Nevada/Idaho and more about meeting demand in urban centers and on heavily traveled routes. On the west coast and east coast...

They should really keep this one OR do one in SW Charlotte at the Premium Outlet mall.

Well, the new one near Universal/Sea World in Florida and in Lewes, Deleware are at a WaWa. I would say while Sheetz is in the lead, it isn't the only game in town on new locations.

I think the Charlotte Premium Outlet Mall in SW Charlotte would make more sense, as the current Mallard Creek S/C is in NE Charlotte, primarily serving I-85. Anyone traveling through Charlotte in I-77 is often better off taking I-485 around the west side for traffic avoidance.

I would argue the RFS is safer than any seat in any of the 7 cars I owned 1981-1991. It certainly isn't as safe as the regular seats in Model S, however.

You really only want to add 3rd-row seating to a Model S that has the reinforced back bumper. That isn't anywhere near 99%, but they are out there.

It's not in Seneca, but in the surface lot across the street from Seneca. Last time I was there, I had the only Tesla on the Mountain and there were no ICE vehicle issues in the spots - they are clearly marked and not in the most desirable location, which helps.

Maybe not useful, but enroute from Wytheville to Snowshoe Mountain, I had dinner at the Greenbriar, and with dual chargers, did very well in the hour or so I was there.

I loved my Volt. I got the Volt before Model S started shipping. And if I didn't have the means to buy a Model S, I would have stayed with the Volt. But, I feel for me, if you can buy a Tesla, then you buy a Tesla.

I imagine given the cost of transporting oil/gas/coal to Hawaii, and the potential for solar, there could be a huge savings in EVs vs. petrol vehicles there.

Am I the only one that keeps a running list of the next 5 supercharger locations I'd like to see? When I got my Model S nearly 3 years ago, the list was: Asheville, NC Greenville, NC Wytheville, VA Columbia, SC Raleigh, NC All of these have been built. Now my list is: Beckely, WV Hickory...

TOU is typically residential. Demand Charges are on commercial accounts at high demand locations, and are pretty much universal in the USA.

Appears to be needing to be resubmitted due to lack of handicap access route between superchargers and building structure. Appears like it would be an easy fix to the plans. Looks like a great site on Google street view/maps.

If you remove the pointless speculation, then TMC would be a fraction of it's current size. Pointless speculation is a huge component of what most of us do here.

I think Santee could possibly go away if Tesla builds a larger SC closer to the junction of I-26/I-95.
