I’m looking at Teslafi, and it appears that the most recent firmware releases include FSD 11.4.4, not 11.4.7. I’m interpreting this as Tesla has abandoned 11.4.7 and regressed to 11.4.4. They apparently see 11.4.7 as a dead end. I’ve been waiting for fixes to the problems introduced with 11.4.7, now I’m wondering if Tesla has dropped further work on 11.4.x for 12.x.

As of today the 11.4.4.x versions are for general release. The 11.4.7.x versions can be found further down the list and are for beta testers (even though it's all in beta).

My wife’s Model Y is on 2023.27.7, which is FSD Beta 11.4.7.3, but neither she nor I are “real” beta testers, so that’s not it. The Model Y was delivered in Sept and has HW4.

Like it or not, everyone on FSD beta builds are "beta testers". You particularly since you're on HW4. The newer firmware versions (2023.32.x and higher) are all offering FSD beta 11.4.4, not 11.4.7.x.

I know, but the comment I was replying to suggested there was a different group of possibly more active beta testers that were receiving the 11.4.7 builds, but that’s not the case.
