More Info: Supercharging.Life database

This is a friendly contest for Tesla owners to track the number of unique public Superchargers where they have charged

- "Supercharger count" is the number of unique public Superchargers where you have charged (just being there does not count), whether or not you were the person plugging in the vehicle (such as a Valet Parking garage or a Passenger) and whether or not it was your own personal vehicle (such as a rental, a loaner, or a friend's Tesla) as long as you were the one who drove >50% of the distance to reach the charger(s).
- The list of chargers in the supercharging.life database are the ones included in the game. If you think one should be added or removed from the list, let us know.
- Only chargers available to the public without special permission are included in the game.
- Chargers not connected to the grid are not counted.
- Doublet locations like the North/South Supercharger 'pairs' in CT, ME, NH, etc. count as individual locations.
- More than 1 charger at the same address, such as Lenox Square Mall (Atlanta, GA) or Montgomery Mall (Bethesda, MD) count as individual locations when they appear as a separate location on the Tesla Nav screen.
- Inactive competitors will be archived and removed from the leaderboard. Just post an update to be reactivated.

See Supercharging.Life database for info on how to post your own visits to the database (preferred), or post your locations with date visited to this thread and one of the admins will update your list for you. All visits must be posted to this thread - not just entered in supercharging.life. If you are the first in the game to visit a supercharger location, please post to the thread as soon as you can so others know it has been visited.

Thanks!

So, how does the Tableau mapping thing work? When I go there via my name in the standings, I get "Nobody/Nothing here by that name." I get the same for some other users too. But for others, it displays a map that appears to chart their Supercharger visits.
Like @PLUS EV said, we kinda hold out for 100 and then I'll create a map for you. Nothing magical about that number but we're looking for some sticktoitiveness before creating the map.

Hopefully you got it when they were offering free unlimited supercharging - otherwise, you might have to check with your financial planner again.
No unlimited Supercharging. But when our planner asked what our annual vacation budget is, and we told her $X, she said, “well, you’ll be traveling more in retirement, so let’s make that $2X.” I like her.

Just a financial heads-up. Upon reviewing my credit card, I identified 3 fraudulent charges that were made by a Long Island resident the same day I passed through the city. I swiped my card at the Bronx Bay Plaza parking garage, and the first machine didn't work. It's mostly the hassle of a cancelled card and re-registering with all the autopays, but it's curious that nobody seemed too interested in the fact we found a shipping address and I can ID the culprit through the vendor.
I believe you need to get to 100 superchargers visited to get your own Tableau page.
You have to ask for one. I have not hit the Century Club yet, but I have a map.

It's funny you mention craps, because that is the one casino where I ever played craps. They had a 25% monthly rebate on losses up to 80k (so max 20k rebate), so I blasted $500 (max bet) on pass line and every come bet with max odds (3x, 4x, 5x) and played until I was up or down 80k. I nearly got a nosebleed playing those stakes, but fortunately I ran hot and won 4 out of the 6 months, so that was a nice win overall and not much "work." Some months it only took a couple hours to get to my result and it never took more than a couple days.

The first time I played I was so clueless about dice that I actually spent an hour on the Craps wikipedia page to learn the rules and then I practiced placing $5 bets at a different casino.

:shrugs emoji: Better learner than I!

That is some big coin. When I was new to craps, I went a bit crazy and was betting $100 on the pass line and the employee on my right was my “money manager”, telling me when to press my odds, and I ended up winning 5-6k. Steep for me! Went back to Vegas a year later and he had been let go. Sad. ;-). He could sniff out a bad roll coming from a mile away, and was too helpful for the sheep. Not so for the corporation.
O was a great show, all I’m sayin’. ;-). If it is still around, I’ll see it again.

$25 pass line and 6&8 and gauge from there is the newer rule, in Reno. Try to roll a lot of 8’s...when I roll.

Had to buy my wife a 3D, and keep working, darnit!

These days Reno is usually on a trip back, from these crazy trips, just to keep up with the insanity. Taco John’s softshells and Potato Ole’s is usually my last stop. They haven’t made it any further West.

If that was my rule, I couldn’t leave the house all winter...
I picked up the Jackson charger in winter and felt like a student driver doing the ice-caked passes with tailgaters galore. Western WY drivers definitely have a different skill set than those of us east of the Big Horns. Maybe studded tires? It’s the white-outs and poor night time visibility, judging lane boundaries that are my biggest challenges. Not big on fog or sandstorms for the same reason. 80k miles a year and you see it all.

I'm in MI and I definitely go into hibernation on the road trips when the snow starts to fall. Thankfully I can work from home on the really bad days. My drive in to work is not that long so that's not a bother, but I really don't want to go chasing new SC's "when the skies of November turn gloomy".

I agree with @Bighorn though... Having drove all around the country (well almost) you get an idea that some drivers have a different comfort level with the conditions than the rest of us. Going through the pouring rain in the mountains of WV was my awakening last year. When it was clear I was passing everyone...then when it poured rain I too felt like the student driver and moved over and let everyone go by. I did fare rather well across the Gulf coast states this year though, perhaps because I've been across that place several times and I know that a freak downpour is only a matter of time away. Several others wound up in the ditch though...as a bit too much speed at the wrong time can do that to you there.

Thanks!

@CharleyBC, thanks for bringing this up (that clicking on a name not in the Tableau map generates an error page). This has been fixed by one of the Admins (thanks to either @tes-s or @theflyer). Now the initial table only links to Tableau if there is a map for them.

@Shesmyne2", maybe that's the group's way of encouraging you to get TO the Century Club.

I think there was some testing early on and anybody was added just to get a larger sample size.

If you're a true supercharger addict and sleep in the car, it might be $0.3X ;)

The Transcanadian highway will be completed by the end of the year at the rate sites are entering construction right now. That will be such an awesome drive when it becomes available.
I've dreamed of making that trip since I was a kid. Now that we own a Tesla, and with retirement coming soon, the dream is awake. I've been watching the Superchargers across Canada. Maybe summer of 2021...

Oh, Canada!
