More Info: Supercharging.Life database

This is a friendly contest for Tesla owners to track the number of unique public Superchargers where they have charged

- "Supercharger count" is the number of unique public Superchargers where you have charged (just being there does not count), whether or not you were the person plugging in the vehicle (such as a Valet Parking garage or a Passenger) and whether or not it was your own personal vehicle (such as a rental, a loaner, or a friend's Tesla) as long as you were the one who drove >50% of the distance to reach the charger(s).
- The list of chargers in the supercharging.life database are the ones included in the game. If you think one should be added or removed from the list, let us know.
- Only chargers available to the public without special permission are included in the game.
- Chargers not connected to the grid are not counted.
- Doublet locations like the North/South Supercharger 'pairs' in CT, ME, NH, etc. count as individual locations.
- More than 1 charger at the same address, such as Lenox Square Mall (Atlanta, GA) or Montgomery Mall (Bethesda, MD) count as individual locations when they appear as a separate location on the Tesla Nav screen.
- Inactive competitors will be archived and removed from the leaderboard. Just post an update to be reactivated.

See Supercharging.Life database for info on how to post your own visits to the database (preferred), or post your locations with date visited to this thread and one of the admins will update your list for you. All visits must be posted to this thread - not just entered in supercharging.life. If you are the first in the game to visit a supercharger location, please post to the thread as soon as you can so others know it has been visited.

Just a financial heads-up. Upon reviewing my credit card, I identified 3 fraudulent charges that were made by a Long Island resident the same day I passed through the city. I swiped my card at the Bronx Bay Plaza parking garage, and the first machine didn't work. It's mostly the hassle of a cancelled card and re-registering with all the autopays, but it's curious that nobody seemed too interested in the fact we found a shipping address and I can ID the culprit through the vendor.

Nice trip...looks like you actually used the SC network as it was intended, which means it will take you a little bit longer to get to 100 than some of us nuts who stop at every charger along the way (and several that are out of the way). :)

You should have come to Custer in May, we took over the town with Teslas. Though you probably had a little bit (a lot) better weather this time of the year.
Yes, that was a shockingly low number of superchargers for such a long trip :)

I went through this once with a casino in Reno. I almost always use cash so there was only one casino/hotel in Reno where I had used my credit card to check in and nearly all the fraudulent charges were in Reno. Furthermore, I did some Facebook sleuthing on my likely culprit (young, female, attractive, "hot mess" casino host who had been strangely flirtatious) and found that the one non-Reno charge was to pay off a phone bill for a phone that was registered in her hometown 200 miles away. When I gave the credit card company all of this information, they did not seem very interested. They basically said "don't worry about it, you won't have to pay for any of those charges." Super frustrating!

I worked with a guy that lifted card info, many many years ago.
He got pinched when the mailman delivered a package for gentleman A to address B, and then delivered gentleman A's mail to his real address and asked if he was moving, since the package went to a different address.
Most of these folks have just enough smarts to get by, but sometimes luck does intervene.
And oh yea, even though the FBI got involved, no prosecution.

Anyone have plans to visit the MX superchargers? Be careful of checkpoints.... Utah couple visiting Mexico fatally shot execution-style after failing to stop at checkpoint
I don't know where the Fox report gets that it was a police checkpoint. According to the Salt Lake Tribune the couple were “intercepted by a group of armed men” and shot.

Utah couple shot and killed in Mexico

Banditry in Guerrero was common back in the 1970's when I lived in Mexico, and I can only imagine it's gotten much worse with the drug trade. Not somewhere I'd want to drive a Tesla, and definitely not at 3 in the morning.

Welcome, @CharleyBC. I sorted the list so your 23 visits are listed in order in the table.

Thankfully, my “casino host” in Reno changes often, since I’m there playing craps every other year.
It's funny you mention craps, because that is the one casino where I ever played craps. They had a 25% monthly rebate on losses up to 80k (so max 20k rebate), so I blasted $500 (max bet) on pass line and every come bet with max odds (3x, 4x, 5x) and played until I was up or down 80k. I nearly got a nosebleed playing those stakes, but fortunately I ran hot and won 4 out of the 6 months, so that was a nice win overall and not much "work." Some months it only took a couple hours to get to my result and it never took more than a couple days.

The first time I played I was so clueless about dice that I actually spent an hour on the Craps wikipedia page to learn the rules and then I practiced placing $5 bets at a different casino. Then I walked into the real game and won over 100k in a couple hours. I would have stopped earlier but I lost track of how many chips I was accumulating in the rack :) That was like 2 or 3am on a Tuesday so they had no idea what hit them lol. That casino is no longer in business so I guess I can mention that it was the Siena located downtown along the river near the baseball stadium.

Thanks!

So, how does the Tableau mapping thing work? When I go there via my name in the standings, I get "Nobody/Nothing here by that name." I get the same for some other users too. But for others, it displays a map that appears to chart their Supercharger visits.
I believe you need to get to 100 superchargers visited to get your own Tableau page.
