More Info: Supercharging.Life database

This is a friendly contest for Tesla owners to track the number of unique public Superchargers where they have charged

- "Supercharger count" is the number of unique public Superchargers where you have charged (just being there does not count), whether or not you were the person plugging in the vehicle (such as a Valet Parking garage or a Passenger) and whether or not it was your own personal vehicle (such as a rental, a loaner, or a friend's Tesla) as long as you were the one who drove >50% of the distance to reach the charger(s).
- The list of chargers in the supercharging.life database are the ones included in the game. If you think one should be added or removed from the list, let us know.
- Only chargers available to the public without special permission are included in the game.
- Chargers not connected to the grid are not counted.
- Doublet locations like the North/South Supercharger 'pairs' in CT, ME, NH, etc. count as individual locations.
- More than 1 charger at the same address, such as Lenox Square Mall (Atlanta, GA) or Montgomery Mall (Bethesda, MD) count as individual locations when they appear as a separate location on the Tesla Nav screen.
- Inactive competitors will be archived and removed from the leaderboard. Just post an update to be reactivated.

See Supercharging.Life database for info on how to post your own visits to the database (preferred), or post your locations with date visited to this thread and one of the admins will update your list for you. All visits must be posted to this thread - not just entered in supercharging.life. If you are the first in the game to visit a supercharger location, please post to the thread as soon as you can so others know it has been visited.

This reminds me of a poll that I have not see yet here on TMC. Who drives during the day not using satellite view? This could be the only one I have yet to see.

I don't either. But then for the first sixty years of my life, paper maps were just fine.

It would be really great if the navigation had more physical characteristics presented like the names of rivers, lakes, mountains, passes, county lines and such.

When I've driven with another forum regular, he insists on having the basic map without the satellite view. I've only started doing it because the MCU on the S would crash as the map zoomed in on approach to a destination.

Rooting for USA-East - we hold five of the top 10 places :)
Is that on a per capita basis? :)

I rarely use satellite view. Only if I’m really curious about my surroundings or if I’m trying to navigate through a complex parking lot.

You should get all the chargers you can so that you feel satisfied with your journey. I mean, I wouldn't want you to feel upset if say, hypothetically, someone else got to 500 before you did. :D
Haha. I think you are likely to hold seventh. The biggest reason to get as many as I can on this trip is so we don't have to hit as many when Bernadette comes with me. She's a trooper but after six or seven, she's had enough. You better watch your six though as I'm continually scheming to see if there is a way I can catch you. ;-)

Good. That will give me some motivation to get out there and try and close the gap on @NKYTA as he is an alarming 110 ahead of me. There aren't any two spots in the rankings in this entire game that are separated by anywhere near as many chargers as the two of us right now. Ugh....110. Would all of the north-eastern seaboard do it? I'm not going out west anymore this year.

From Lake Erie to Maine and down to North Carolina would do it... just.

Two trips, perhaps? Canada could easily put you over +110.

I rarely use satellite view--so rarely, in fact, that at first I was wondering what the heck you were talking about. Satellite view seems more likely to crash, takes longer to load, and has too much clutter to look at while I am driving down the highway. I rarely look at the traffic data either, for much of the same reasoning.

I do wish there was an option to point to a spot and ask, "what is that?" One minor irritation I've noticed with the map is that there is less information displayed if you are in night mode. State lines, for instance, are usually displayed in day mode, but disappear in night mode.

Well that gives me 50 total so far, small peanuts compared to the esteemed leaders. It took me a year, let’s see how long to 100. I think a Bay Area trip will net me 25 at least.

Nice work!

Yes do come up to the Bay Area. You can get the most Superchargers in transit if you go on 5 in one direction and 101 the other way.

Bruce.

I’ve only used Sat view once to try it because a highly traveled friend uses it often. I find it a little dizzying, but way cooler than grey nav. Especially in certain travel spots- like near lakes, salt flats, etc
