Supercharger - Yuma, AZ - South Fortuna Road

Tesla has asked the local utility to install a Supercharger at 11235 S Fortuna Road. Tentative start date for utility work is September 2022.

When I did Phoenix to San Diego, Fortuna was our preferred place to stop to break up the trip. In fact we stopped at the very gas station listed in the above address. This would be a perfect location for a 250kw SC. It is convenient to bathrooms and provides multiple food options while breaking up the trip about 50/50 I would appreciate those in the know publish updates.

The Supercharge.info pin will need to be updated. The twitter post has a picture of 4 charging cabinets indicating more than 12 stalls.

Here‘s a video I just threw together this evening. I did take note that there are several new trash cans that appear to be intended to be installed on site. Also, I counted 16 stalls total.

Last week it looked fairly unchanged. All the stations were fully assembled, but there's still a fence up and construction mess everywhere. I'll take another look after work today.

What names show in the nav for the two Yuma locations? Find Us calls the original Yuma, AZ Supercharger and the new one Yuma, AZ.

The site is up and functioning. They did a lot of cleanup and removed all the construction equipment over the last few days. It now shows up in the app too.

Yes, but you can go as fast as you want into the ones on the left.
