That HEAD firmware definitely did the trick. No issues charging again over the weekend. Does anybody here have more than one wall connector in their Tesla app? What does that look like? We’re thinking about upgrading another charger we have here.

I talked to Tesla over chat and they were super quick to help and push the HEAD (3CAE3FBA856679) firmware. I can confirm this fixed the issue at least on first charge. I'll report back if it stops working!

Sounds like this forced firmware push is what's solving this charging issue. I'll have to contact Tesla tomorrow.

Did you replace the entire thing, or did you swap just the front half and leave the backing that's attached to the wall? Wondering how much of a replacement process this is.

Had the pleasure of stopping here last week on my way home from Phoenix to Tucson. Trip planner said I'd arrive with -3% and a <5 minute charge was all I needed. This is a night and day difference from charging in Casa Grande!

If a Phoenix charger is busy and you're heading south, this Casa Grande charger has really opened up. Never a line and seems to be operating. Might be worth skipping the wait in Phoenix.

Witnessed an awful line here on Friday evening. At least 5 cars. And because the charger faces two directions, there were two lines with everybody unsure on who should go first. Not smooth at all. We decided to give up and stretch it to Casa Grande in the rain.
