Supercharger - Seabrook, NH - New Zealand Rd

Tesla is proposing a new charging station installation to be installed at "The Brook" Casino in Seabrook with an address of 319 New Zealand Rd, Seabrook, NH 03874.

The project proposes an installation including 12 v4 pre-fab charging posts and an adjacent 12 Tesla L2 spots. As with another new V4 site plan recently found for Connecticut, the v4 PSU's will include two 4-post PSUs and one 3-post PSU plus an adjacent stand alone v4 post for ADA compliance.

This project will come before the Seabrook planning board January 8th, 2024.

True - bit it's an old v2 built in 2015 and probably should be replaced with newer equipment at some point.

I'm really happy to see the AC posts at this site. will be interesting to see what cost model they use for those: is it subsidized by the casino to encourage people to 'linger'?

Also, the leases are 5 or 10 years, and Seabrook is currently in a 59 mile gap. So they need to get it upgraded.

Tesla (thankfully) seems to be on a roll with installing new v3 or v4 stations near existing v2 units:

• Chestnut Hill (Newton), MA
• Dedham, MA
• Framingham, MA

I'm looking forward to seeing more of this.

The existing location is not ideal. mostly because it's old so the charging speeds aren't great. and it gets extremely busy, especially in the summer. I'm guessing next summer won't be so bad though, with all the new chargers on 95 and 16 also.

OG Seabrook had 2 stalls out Jan 1 and a short line. Was headed north so stayed only long enough to get to 250kW Saco. More is better

Project just approved at this evening's planning board meeting. Lots of favorable comments and dialog referring to the construction of the original supercharger. A member of the planning board jokingly asked if Tesla had brought any cars for the PB members to test drive tonight, as they apparently had done for the original project.

This is definitely needed. I had to use the site a few time back in July and August after we bought our MY, while I was still finishing up my charger install (project approval… from my wife… took an annoyingly long time). Couldn’t believe how often there was a line at the location. At least there was a Panera to grab a coffee.
