Tesla was asked and said that they would "consider" this. There is no commitment to make J1772 available at the Supercharger stations yet.

Ok let me chime in one more thought.... I assume the battery "process" is the same across the line.

If you get a 160 mile pack, that would equate to roughly 125 miles on a standard charge as range charges are not recommended. So as long as your anxiety level is low, you'll be fine. But, if you're needing to make any one way trip around 50 miles, you're gonna get anxious. Especially if you are using a lot of juice (70 mph, a/c, lights at night).
