Yeah, I have always thought 8 spots for this location was way too lowinteresting. since this will be a rather large Tesla shop, seems like 8 SC is a bit on the low side. I wonder if Tesla didn't get that big overflow lot to the east.

Maybe it was all the power that the location could supply for now - I've been reading that it can takes years to get more power capacity added to an area...Yeah, I have always thought 8 spots for this location was way too low
It’s in an urban area. Paging @RandyS what say you?Maybe it was all the power that the location could supply for now - I've been reading that it can takes years to get more power capacity added to an area...
It looks like the earlier original materials (dated 4/15/22) are for the service center renovation, and the 8 SC stalls are stated in Note 3 to be part of a future permit, separate service and separate meter. That's what I think the second set of drawings are for, dated 2/27/23).It’s in an urban area. Paging @RandyS what say you?
It looks like the holes in the wall right above them could be for drainage from above? Maybe someone cleaned the area off above and it drained down there? That's a surprising amount of water in the trench and under the asphalt for this time of year...
Maybe a water truck came by earlier to keep the dust down? That's a surprising amount of water in the trench and under the asphalt for this time of year...
I took this picture at the same time of the trench for the grid connection and it has standing water in it too.
It would be unusual since this lot is in the middle of a rather large sloping landform. Then again, I don’t know much about subterranean structures, maybe there’s an underground stream there.Maybe reaching the water table level ?
Nonetheless I suspect won’t be open until 2024 since the rest of the building needs to get done too.
