Stolen Model S crashes after police pursuit. 7/4/14

What is the point of putting that up for salvage... Is there anything left to salvage? Maybe a couple of nuts and bolts...
It would be interesting purely for looking at the parts like the electronics and battery layout, so maybe interesting to a competitor etc. but I would suspect this has already been done. I think if you needed any particular part, chances are it will have been destroyed or damaged in some manner.
 
It may "work" - but it looks heat damaged to me, and who knows if the LCD panel survived the crash...?

Fire it up and get an error message: "Car Needs Service - Contact Tesla Service." I would laugh.

Anyway, isn't the instrument cluster paired to the rest of the car. Things like mileage and badging/car colour. I seem to remember reading that.

Regardless, guess scrap Al & Cu is basically all it's worth.
