Squeaky brakes since day 1

Keep doing hard brakes 60 to 0 several times, squeak will eventually go away. Had it for first couple months, nothing now. I also had that on my previous BMW and Audi.

Mine does it when at slow speeds like at a crawl and coming to a complete stop, for example parallel parking.

Just got back from the Costa Mesa SC. I was told all the same things: it's normal, try less regen. I think I've been had. How is it acceptable for a luxury car at this price point to have squeaky brakes!? Regardless of metallic content of the disk, or infrequency of use, or whatever else. My question is does every model S have this problem? It looks like the answer is no. So that would mean this is a defect that needs to be corrected.

I feel the same way.

I can understand a little squeak when it's raining, but this is everyday all day. I've never owned a vehicle that had this much brake noise.

As a buddy come up with anything for the squeaky brakes? We only had ours a couple of weeks and have noticed that they start this week. I understand with the regenerative braking that this is a common complaint, but are there any new solutions short of driving superfast on the freeway in slamming on the brakes?

My brakes also squeak badly. Being a CPO, I thought maybe the brakes were missed in the inspection and the pads are worn. Called the SC and was given the brake dust / not enough use answer.

New SC in 12/15. Squeak in left front brake only and only at less than 7 mph. Standard answer, exercise the brakes and it will go away. Frustrated but maybe better than all four doing it.
