There are plenty of posts already on this topic, and there is no clear answer on what the services cover. As of now, everyone who has the service contract received the exact same service as those who do not.

The only difference in writing is the services are required for the "resale price guarantee" from Tesla's financing.

If you are using tesla's financing, and this is a concern to you, you may want that service done.

Really? That's somewhat lame. Another reason to consider looking elsewhere for financing (apparently only getting a Tesla-provided loan enables the Guaranteed Resale Value)...
