Yes, Interstellar would be a good choice while charging. Plenty of time.
In Goleta the Goodland, a Klimpton Hotel, is a rehabilitated Holiday Inn and is supposed to be pretty nice. A Best Western Hotel is next door. These are a couple blocks from the 70 amp EVSE at the Rabobank. You could charge while going to dinner and then bring the car to the hotel overnight if you wished.
BTW the Fresco Café North right next door to the Rabobank is a nice place to hang out and eat while charging. (I had a cup of coffee here with Rafael de Mestre when he stopped to charge here in the first electric car to go around the world!) A mall and a movie house are just a block away.
The Ramada Inn north off the Turnpike exit has a 30 amp EVSE intended for guests. Not as nice as the Canary Hotel downtown Santa Barbara, but a whole lot less expensive!
