Removed Driver still getting notifications

I removed a driver from my Tesla S, but he is still getting location notifications. He is no longer listed as a driver in the app - what can I do?

Yes, I removed him in the app and no additional drivers show up in the app - but he is still getting notifications and can see my location

You could try changing your Tesla account password. If I had to guess, my guess would be that the person still has an access token that is valid on their phone. That is generated when you login, and I am not sure what the refresh time is on them.

The way to make all previous access tokens invalid is to change your password.

Or, in slightly less Technical terms, changing your password might work to remove the other persons access. If it doesnt, you should contact Tesla as removing the driver and changing the password are the suggestions I can think of.

I don’t think changing your password impacts any other Tesla account. The other person can try restarting the app.

I removed location access from the app and that appears to have done the trick and he says he can no longer see my vehicle in the app. Hope so!

Since you can't be sure, it is probably best if you contact Tesla - make a service request. That way, you can be certain.
