Refreshed MS LR/Plaid Firmware status

I got the unicorn. My RAM says 0GB

Quick reboot solved that. Confirmed 8GB.

Mine also shows 0GB but waking it up by stepping on the brake to wake the car then shows 8GB. Expected since my build date was June 3, 2021.

Interesting that mine shows "Brake Package: Base" in addition to the other items. That reinforces that the CC brakes will only be available for the Plaid models.

Since mine shows 8GB I'll have to find out exactly what was upgraded when they told me they upgraded me from 8GB to 16GB. That will mean another trip to the SC since I cannot see invoices in the app prior to April of this year for some reason.

Man… I have been excited for steam in my plaid model x. Just got the holiday update and no dice. Infotainment RAM is 8GB D=. Scheduled a service appointment for Monday.

February 2022 delivery.

Any word on an upgrade? Saw on Reddit, $2000 quote.

Upgrade exists. My quote was just over 2k. I escalated to business resolutions and I haven’t heard anything back yet.

Looks like Tesla will not retrofit MCU with motors to tilt, as per the Kansas City SC. Disappointing. They also do not have memory upgrade available for games.

Greater than zero chance if you try a different service center, you will get a different answer.

Worth a try.
