Rechroming?

So I've heard of "Chrome Delete" but is there an equivalent service for chrome putting back on?

My Model S has shiny 21" Arachnid wheels and since I've got them clean and fixed, they make the car look awesome.

I'm still wanting a new S but the car has no chrome. Even the 21's are grey, I'd love to take the shiny 21's and put it on a new car, but is there any service that can make the handles chrome and all the other accessories, or does Tesla offer Chrome as an option?

I'm old school, Chrome looks good IMHO

Not sure about putting chrome on but I do agree it looks nicer. Maybe I'm of a certain age but black trim still reminds me of the olden days where manufacturers used black plastic trim to save money on chrome.

You can get chrome wrap film for cars or even sticky-back mirror films - just a matter of whether you wanna pay or DIY. It's aslo possible to spray a chrome finish. No personal experience of any of these.

I’m 56, maybe it’s an age thing but I agree with the above. To my own eyes, and it’s my opinion only, I prefer the chrome trim. I don’t think it was ever over pimped.

On a practical point it’d make finding the handles easier at night too….

Wonder how much it’d cost to swap out the black parts on a M3 for chrome and ether it’d be cheaper to get those small parts just wrapped.
