I picked up my MY today at Mt. Kisco. Very smooth process in that the car was ready for me even though I got there 15 minutes early. I inspected the car and the only thing I found was what appeared to be an abrasion on the glass roof. I kind of went, "@#$@# Nooooooooooooooo" for a second but it ended up being some polisher that wiped right off. In and out in less than 30 minutes. The delivery specialist said they have a lot of cars at their offsite facility and today was really the first day with a steady flow of deliveries in a while, he expects the pace to pickup and continue right until the end of quarter next month. I was glad I was able to take delivery on the front end.
My only other comment is related to my drive home in the rain. Autopilot really struggled (aborting often) in a moderate rainfall (wipers set to the lowest continuous setting) throughout the day, it got annoying after a while. I don't know if this behavior is different now that the radar is gone, but "Tesla Vision" has a lot of room for improvement based on my first impressions.
Coming from a Chevy Bolt supercharging was awesome and the acceleration, even on wet roads, almost got me in trouble a couple of times as the Bolt would just spin the tires if you tried to push it too hard. Oh, my car was born in April and did not have the new headlights or free mud flaps or free rear panel protection. Which is fine since I already have the flaps and PPF on the way.
