Mine was a 60 order confirmed 31 March. I switched it to a 70D and they kept the same VIN

I am just jumping in here because this looks like the best place to share with fellow 70D'ers that I put my order in today! Month earlier than planned. Really wanted that Silver.

You won't get a VIN until after you confirm your order. Once you confirm, it should only take a day or so.

I just called the store and confirmed or you can go online to confirm

There is a video tutorial on how to execute this maneuver which was done by some of our forum members around that time. I searched for it for a few minutes, but my Googling skills failed me. Anyone have a link?

Confirmed 4/10.. Just checked my tesla and my VIN shows - 84405 :smile:. June delivery.

The VIN on my first Tesla was 10756...it's amazing how The Tesla population has grown in 2 years!

Just became a member of this club. Have been reading all the posts since the weekend and have found this to be a very helpful forum.

Ordered my 70D 12th April. Wanted the 'Solid White' which was not available online. Was told by a very friendly rep in the Fremont centre that I place the order as 'Solid Black' and he would change it at the backend to White.

I confirmed the order on 15th April. It says delivery is late May. VIN is 84866.
