So last year* sometime there was an update that magically knew to set your destination to work in the morning and home in the evening. Wow! this was a time saver.

For the past 7 weeks I've been working from home and haven't been driving a lot.
But when I do get in the car in the morning it tells me to go to work.
Seriously? After 7 weeks it hasn't yet figured out that I'm working at home?

Maybe the car is lonely and feeling not needed and just wants bring me to work.
Maybe it knows that I need a job to keep making the payments.
Could it be that smart?

* I'm pretty sure it was last year...but the Superbowl seems like last year too

No, I think you are attributing way too much intelligence to it. It's not trying to infer travel patterns. It's merely knows that your first trip in the weekday AM is likely to work, and that in the afternoon it's likely home. At best, maybe it determines what time you go to/from work, but I suspect that's it.

yeah i had that on to test and it got annoying so i disabled it. it will also navigate you back home if you leave within a certain time of day.
