R&D centre investigates flow cell applications

Quant City will represent an investment of 150 million Swiss Francs (136.5 million euros or 156 million $). The facility will be based in Tenero, in the Swiss canton of Ticino and create between 150 and 200 jobs for engineers as well as legal experts. It is expected that the R&D centre will initiate the creation of additional 2500 jobs at suppliers and service providers in the Ticino area.

Anyway, I want one if that really works. Its a very unique design but I like it. Doesn't look the same like all the other cars. Biggest issue for the FE is the performance. They have it worse than Tesla with the cell not having enough power density. However for a "Toyota Corolla" type of car this might already be sufficient.

Reading that article, it sounds like every 10,000 miles, you produce toxic waste. I, for one, feel a lot safer atop lithium ion cells than abreast of two tanks of unknown chemicals in a crash situation. Perhaps they can weaponize these designs.
