Adventurer Lexie Alford, aka Lexie Limitless, has set a new world record for being the first person to circumnavigate the world in an electric vehicle.
Her Charge Around The Globe with Ford in the New All-Electric Explorer ended in Nice on 26 March, ahead of the vehicle going on sale in Europe
and making it available to customers who are ready to challenge their own frontiers of adventure.

Mind you, this Explorer (based on a shared platform with VW) is not available in the U.S. IMO it looks better than the Fisker Ocean.

How did they charge the vehicle in areas with no charging infrastructure? How long did it take to charge in areas with only Household Charging Outlets? Details are lacking. How easy was it to charge in places like Mongolia, Iraq, and Russia?

We were given an early ride in the rear-drive 77kWh model and found the initial refinement and interior ambience
to be very impressive. Despite sharing much of its package with the Volkswagen ID.4, the new Explorer’s interior
felt much more substantial with lots of clever little details and cubbies to hold day-to-day items.
