little bumps I guess not energizing the compression function of the shocksGoing to have to play with the tire pressure and suspension settings to get the ride right. Big bumps are better, but little ones are worse.
I have 2023 MYLR comfort suspension coming out tomorrow, but I’m out in California, probably not worth the shipping costs.Long shot but if anyone is selling their MYP comfort suspension please send DM. Thanks!
Thanks but I’m looking for myp comfort.I have 2023 MYLR comfort suspension coming out tomorrow, but I’m out in California, probably not worth the shipping costs.
I don’t think they’re that expensive from the dealer. Regardless, I’ll have a set coming out of my MYP I just picked upThanks but I’m looking for myp comfort.
Yeah it's not expensive if they'll let me order it. me driving MYLR is an added complication in ordering MYP part. HMU when you decide to sell itI don’t think they’re that expensive from the dealer. Regardless, I’ll have a set coming out of my MYP I just picked up
You were able to order the MYP parts without a MYP VIN? Tesla SC has been extremely difficult when it comes to ordering parts not for your own vehicle.i was finally able to order MYP comfort suspension for 22 MYLR. CS mentioned it’ll avoid suspension warranty which I don’t mind. Cost estimation is 941 including installation. I’ll report back once it is installed.
Yeah I was surprised they did it. Not to mention they offered to install it. Who knows they may cancel it before my appointment. You were able to order the MYP parts without a MYP VIN? Tesla SC has been extremely difficult when it comes to ordering parts not for your own vehicle.
I asked Rishi from Zevcentric this question on his comparison video. He mentioned damping and springs are different. Not by much. Height for sure.Has anyone ever figured out the difference between 23MY performance and 23MY long range suspension? Is it just a difference in springs a touch lower in the performance?
I’m calling BS on the void warranty, those CS have no idea what they are talking about. They can only deny a claim since this isn’t the original part of your vin if you have any direct issues related to it, what makes it more infuriating is the fact they are willing to install, yet lack of support. Technically these are factory parts installed by “qualified” Tesla techs. They should support this.i was finally able to order MYP comfort suspension for 22 MYLR. Did you change all 4 or just the rears?Ah sorry i missed your original post. Before I swapped my 23 shocks for Ohlins, i felt they were just enough stiffness whle retaining some form of comfort for my rear passengers over smaller bumps, just not compliant under load. It's probably more to do wholistically with the rear end rather than the shocks themselves. I'm also accustomed to reactive suspension feeling the road.
I'm sure hyp36rmax swapped out his stock suspension with a set of Ohlins, not just the rear.Did you change all 4 or just the rears?
question is. Why are you so mad? Regardless of seniority they are doing their job. No need to degrade someone for doing their job.I’m calling BS on the void warranty, those CS have no idea what they are talking about. Most of the time these low level CS have no idea what they are doing, best to get a master tech and senior to answer your questions.
Not mad at all or putting it on you. I’m calling out Tesla. Haha sorry if I didnt communicate that properly.question is. Why are you so mad? Regardless of seniority they are doing their job. No need to degrade someone for doing their job.
My car is LR and I’m installing P parts. It makes sense why they are saying it will void suspension warranty. I’m taking my chances and if i ever have an issue I’ll try to talk to master tech or etc.
This is correct. Full send.I'm sure hyp36rmax swapped out his stock suspension with a set of Ohlins, not just the rear.
