Model Y Delivery Question

I was very close to getting a Model Y right before the factory shut-down and had put all my info and and secured financing. Then I heard nothing for 2 months as expected.

I got an e-mail last Tuesday from a Delivery Specialist with a VIN and MVPA. I asked a couple questions back including if the trade in value was still good since it was past the 30 days, and that I needed an updated payoff on the MVPA before I could re-secure financing. I left a message Wednesday. On Friday I got the trade-in docs from the Remarketing team unexpectedly with the old value on it so I went ahead and signed those and sent a copy to my delivery specialist. Asking again for a new MVPA, when delivery was expected before I jumped through the financing hoops again, and how deliveries were done since when I picked up my Model 3 it is about 150 miles away and a bit hard to schedule.

I finally got a response Friday from them thanking me for sending the Trade-in paperwork and asking to please remit payment so delivery could be scheduled.

Nothing's been changed on the outdated MVPA except adding a VIN and I can't get my delivery specialist by phone or e-mail. Am I still a ways off, are they overworked, or do I need to try and send payment before getting any further info? Just seems a little poor I can't get 1 phone call or e-mail and I can take care of the rest.

This is for a 2020 Model Y Performance in Texas. Thanks!!
 
I am in the same boat. I had financing and trade-in all in order and then the factory shut down and I did not hear anything from Tesla. Then last week I randomly got a MVPA in my account and two days later a text saying my car is shipping and coordinate a delivery date. My trade in value is showing the same as it was prior to the shut down and I submitted final payment last week as well. I am scheduled for delivery for 6/5 and just keeping my fingers crossed that they are not going to flag it and and try and re-evalueate my trade and make me pay more the day of delivery.

I think my saving grace is the MVPA is dated from when it showed up in my account, so technically its not an out-of-date document?? Who knows though...
 
Glad to hear it's not a unique situation. I was considering just sending payment like the e-mail asked, but my lender won't even accept it because their payoff is so far off (I've made 2 payments since then). I offered to send a new payoff quote or how I could help, but just silence.

I called the main number so I could try and get them to just update the 2 lines on the MVPA so I can finalize financing and be done with it, but they just forwarded me to my Delivery Specialists Voicemail. Have loved Tesla so far that's why I've bought 2, but feels like a 3 minute phone call or an e-mail response within a week for a $70k+ car isn't too much to ask. Don't feel like I'm being very needy, give me an accurate MVPA, I'll send you money, and then tell me when delivery is ;P

I’m seeing I’m not the only having problems here in TX. The ONLY contact I’ve had has been initiated by me and I get lack luster responses that take days to get to me with no substance. I have a MVPA with a VIN and a bank waiting to send funds and all required paperwork done online they’ve asked for. My delivery specialist also has yet to answer any of my questions much less give me a delivery date. I’m new to the Tesla game and this process so far has been terrible!
