@Rawen76 - if possible, see if you can edit your post and delete the quoted table section...formatting is all jacked up so it fills up the screen with a bunch of html tags instead of a copy of the formatted table. Only reason I ask is it is a pain to scroll past for those viewing on a mobile device (as I was earlier today).

Thanks, and welcome to the thread!

Oh, I wasn't looking at the file. I was looking at the first post.

Yeah, @KaJu74 maintains the file, which is the most up to date record. I then try to copy it at least once per day (or every other day), when I notice there were updates. It's current again now.

With one post he'll need help from the moderators on this one.

ordered 1/14/14
confirmed 1/14/14
sourcing parts
preferred delivery march 2014
tesla rep says it will be available in 30 days but will hold until mid march when my current lease expires

Wow they must really be ramping up if they are getting Performance models down a month :)
I know that this is really their goal for 2014, to try to ramp up to a point where we can finally try to see real global demand levels. I won't be happy until I see it around 2 weeks for everyone and 1 week for performance cars (not counting the 2 week "change-your-mind" period between ordering and confirming.)

Minor change: I cancelled paint armor today. I finally looked into the expel wrap and made a decision to do this instead.

@gpetti - I had actually cancelled my paint armor, too, and am scheduled for a cQuartz finest coating and clear bra. Only part that sucks about that is giving up the car for up to a week after having it for only a few days (conservative estimate to do all the work, but could go quicker)...hopefully my next business trip will coincide with traveling the week the car is not in my possession!

Today the status changed to

In Produktion
Das Tesla-Werk baut nun Ihr Model S.

Now what?
1 week to build
6 weeks to ship
2 week for final assembly in Tilburg
1 week for delivery

---------------

expected ToA end of march

YES!!! Congrats, and thank you @Johann! My VIN is 324 behind yours, so maybe I'll be starting Production early the week after next! I did, coincidentally, contact my delivery specialist to ask when it looked like my car would go into production and if he knew the highest VIN produced yet. He did tell me my car was schedule to go into production in the next 2 weeks (original estimate given to me by another contact I had, was between 15-24 Jan, so sort of on track) and that he has delivered a car already in the 28500s, so that is lining up with our data sheet (and is showing some pretty fast deliveries to the Southeast).

@JJR64, your car should be done now (or Monday), based on my moderately scientific extrapolation and positive thinking. Can you please confirm?

Thanks MidlifeCrisis. I take it the wait is killing you as much as it's killing me... damn it's hard to wait this one out!

Yes, the wait is killing me. I would seriously pay to go into a medically induced coma so I could be brought out 15 minutes before my delivery appointment. I'm sure it wouldn't go over well with the wife or my job, but that's the only way I could make this wait not as painful!

I was given the option of picking it up in February or in March. I elected March.
My Tesla says: "We have begun sourcing parts"
email from Tesla sent 1/15/14 says "You are all set for your Model S Delivery on Friday March 14[SUP]th[/SUP] at 10:00AM."
I called today and no VIN assigned yet
