Model S help with dead bug stuck in turn indicator unit

Tesla actually called me when I posted a picture similar to this (not as big of a bug) back in 2017 and said they ordered a new tail light.

That was of course a different time in Tesla Service history, apparently. Wonder of anyone from Tesla looks at these forums any more..

I have had the service center address this via warranty. They did not take the bug out instead they put a brand new tail light.

Not if they carefully inspected the old taillight, found the defect, and instituted QC measures to address so as to never have it happen again.

It's just too hard, I am sure by the time I organise the appointment, lose half a day getting there and back and have the car sit there for a week only to be told it is within spec I'd just rather not go there.

I had a bug stuck in mind and they replace the whole unit. It was probably 1-2 weeks into when I picked up my car.
