Unpopular opinion: this kid gets some good info here and there, takes some calculated guesses here and there, and also posts rumors or otherwise that are complete nonsense. I'd say this one is #2.

Last night, My ED yet again went from 8/28-9/10 to March. Today it just tightened up significantly to 8/28-9/1 and I got a VIN! White with black interior and 19” rims.

Funny part is, it seems cheaper to actually buy the parts and install it afterwards than to pay for it as an option up front.

Don’t know how you’re figuring that. On the refresh, only the Plaid gets carbon and it’s no cost option.

Not necessarily. The Plaid is software limited to 1020 hp. They could just as easily offer the same performance upgrade to the Plaid. In fact I expect them to do that as soon as there is a competitor that comes close to Plaid acceleration.

I ordered a new order yesterday and showed march, this morning updated to dec 09- Jan 08

Could the people who are interested in options, customizing, wheels, etc. please move their discussions to another thread?

Yep. All that's been done for awhile now. My rep from Tesla told me I have everything completed up to this point.

Interesting, I was today years old when I learned that Plaid was software locked to 1020.
