Checked this Morning. Its in Production!!!!
By the way, I have never received an email of progress.
same, i thought the email system had broken since the mytesla page update, since prior to that i was getting emails. so this morning i figured i would change out the contact email to one of my others then change it back. unfortunately the "change it back" part did not happen because now it says that email is in use! uargh....
Just talked to my DS and its definitely in production. Says about 1 week to get done and then shipped. Holy crap soo anxious.
How Nice is this!? Congratulations... For those of us with IN TRANSIT... Time Is SLOOOWINNNNGGGG Downnnnnn
The next step in my process is to get a call from Tesla to bring in my Prius trade-in for the final quote. That will take place 7 days prior to delivery as the quote is good for that number ofHaha yeah I bet. Have you spoken with your DS regarding a pickup date?
Thats awesome Art! Going from prius to tesla! what an upgrade
I'm new here but here is my current order status. 90D ordered 2/17 confirmed 2/20 VIN 131165 assigned 2/20; estimated delivery April - Early May. Waiting patiently as possible. I'm also going from a Prius to a Model S.
First post here. Ordered MS70 on 01/25, opted for March delivery. Have been driving Chevy Volt for last 3 years, and looking forward to a nice upgrade to MS!
Congrats! I'm also waiting impatiently for my 85D to be delivered. Also upgrading from a Chevy Volt. There seem to be a lot of us Volt->Model S converts.
After "testing waters" of EV driving, moving to zero emission MS was no brainer! BTW Are you going to upgrade your charging from what you've used for Volt? I'm thinking of keeping my Voltec EVSE, even though it's slow charging of course (3.6Kw), compared to other options.
My wife gets the Volt, which we charge with the standard connector that came with the car, and installing a 14-50 for the Tesla. I would think the Voltec would take a looong time to charge an empty 70D battery. Also I've read elsewhere on the forum that with vampire losses, you end up needing a lot more extra energy to charge to cover the losses, especially with low power charging. I'm pretty sure the standard Volt connector at 120V/12A would just be enough to cover the vampire drain
