Model s 75 vs Model s P90D

Took my p90d in for service today. I must admit I turned my nose up a bit when they gave me a 2017 s 75. I was absolutely shocked after driving the 75. I was completely impressed and it reminded me of a lighter 2013 p85. I was really surprised how well the s75 with just rwd was able to accelerate. I don’t go too hard that often with the p90d so I didn’t notice a major difference at all. I’m just wondering how Tesla says the p90d has 691 hp vs a 8/2017 build date 75 w 385 hp feels like a negligible difference. It was raining tonight and one thing I did notice is the traction isn’t nearly as good in the 75. Overall my thoughts on the 75 are very positive. I would not steer anyone away from that beast after driving it. Anyone have thoughts on the other differences I left out or other impressions who have driven both?

The Aug '17 and later S75s with the 4.3 0-60 are great. The earlier models limited to 5.5 sec 0-60 are fun too but a little pokey.
