What's interesting is that a few days ago, someone was requested not to take pictures of the car (at least not close-ups); yet, in this series from San Mateo, the photographer was able to crawl all over the car and take pictures of the interior through open windows with nothing draped over the window, steering wheel or display. Makes me wonder how much of this discrepancy in dealing with onlookers is due to individual driver discretion and how much is due to (semi-) official relaxation of policy as we get closer to the final reveal. Either way, it's getting to be a fun ride to July! This is interesting. I don't think I've seen a clearer example of a deliberate leak.
"Okay Bob. We'd like to do a bit of an information leak. Go on out the the supercharger, when it's packed, leave the car wide open so that people can see and take photos. Make sure that they can take a good photo of the screen, so that they can do the math to determine the range. Make sure that the interior is clean and uncluttered.".
