I may be driving to Atlanta this weekend, this charger is online this week, I will be able to take the Model S instead of the Volt!

If it is working, I'll be plugging in and uploading a picture as confirmation (unless someone else beats me to it on Tuesday!).
Otherwise I'm planning on visiting a nearby CHAdeMO at a Cracker Barrel. I'll post my situation either way.

You can probably make it in the Model S. Top off in London KY and you will have just enough. Although with the mountains, I guess you could lose a bit going up.

I just stopped in here at 11:50 AM.
Update: the Man in charge of the install says he has the electrician there now and the juice is on, but they are waiting for the tester car to arrive to test the stalls. If all goes well, it could open immediately afterward. If not, it may be as late as Wed/Thurs. See pictures.
As for making this leg in my 60, I stopped at a Cracker Barrel in Harriman, TN first (about 30 mins West) and used the CHAdeMO there (blink network) to top off before continuing toward London, KY.

And fyi, in the 60 with a full charge at Chattanooga (rated 207), it told me I'd be 6% shy of making it to London, that's why I decided to stop at the CHAdeMO that I mentioned above.

Today installer said SC would be online Wednesday (05/27/2015). Have to complete Testing before official.

The meter is bouncing from 01 to 02 both showing 0000 kwh so it appears no one has charged there yet.
There are 7 regular spaces and 1 handicapped. No paint in the spaces themselves, just the vertical signs.
Nothing roped off anymore, all equipment gone, looks like they are just waiting for someone to flip a switch.

As much as I'm a vocal member in this forum I don't yet have a Tesla.
I still think Elon is the man and I own TSLA stock. I just haven't scraped together enough to buy a CPO Model S yet. I might grab used S after the Model 3 comes out or I might be grabbing a Model 3. I think it'll be several years before I have to make that choice though I'd love to be pleasantly surprised. Should a windfall occur I'd be stalking the CPO site for a 70D or a really really cheap S60 with autopilot features (either way I'd get a blue one).
