Coool! I guess they could make it even quicker than the S, as it is not as heavy, but they probably limit it for marketing reasons.

Well I certainly hope it does NOT wind up like the front of the new S or the X. Love the Tesla logo on the hood, love the absence of the mini-grill.

I would love for the M3 to have the same front nose of the new MS.

Agree completely.

People fear something different. Everytime facebook updates their interface, you see thousands of people outraged even though they are adding functionality that benefits the user. Same thing here -- you are getting better aerodynamics and a look that is unique. I really hope they don't just slap an S or X grille on here. I would strongly consider cancelling my preorder based on how it looks in photoshopped images floating around.

The car is beautiful the way it was designed.

It has ALWAYS been ugly to me. Especially for a $70K+ car.

As a matter of fact yes. I think it was very uniquely attractive among almost any car in past history ;-)

Exciting news about the spaceship controls and dashboard. What is the real steering system? Is it not a wheel? Why is it a system and not a wheel?And I think we are going to have a large HUD on the windscreen...

Definitely a lot of HUD.
For steering nothing seems better than a wheel. Otherwise very sensitive.
Does anyone know when reveal 2 is planned?

I don't know about that. I flew a Cirrus SR 20 for several years and it had a side mounted control stick. It was odd at first but once you got used to it, it was very natural and opened up the entire space directly in front of the pilot.
