My arms simply aren't long enough to reach the whole thing and I have a bad back. So how do you reach the entire inside of the windshield with paper towels and spray?

You use a microfiber towel with your prominent arm. Position yourself in the driver seat side and passenger seat to wipe the windshield.
Model 3 is a lot easier since it doesn't have a large cluttered dashboard. Put one hand on the dash and wipe whatever side your on and then switch to the other side

Yup, I love the scrubby on a stick. Works great. I go over the glass once with a wet one, then a dry one to get the residue.
I asked the exact same question about a year ago. I can vouch for the Invisible Glass solution above. Also their cleaning spray and water repellent solutions are excellent.
