The Tesla website will list those destination chargers that are using Tesla hardware (and may have to go through Tesla's destination charging program).
Plugshare lists other charging options - that can also work just as well as a Tesla charger.
For example, we stayed at a JW Marriott a few months ago. They don't have a Tesla charger - and there aren't any chargers visible in the parking lot. However, the hotel was listed on plugshare as having a 14-50 outlet, in the valet garage. And I called the hotel to verify their charger support before we committed to the trip. And we were able to get a full charge, overnight, for free.
My recommendation is to first check the Tesla site - and select hotels/destinations with Tesla chargers.
But if you can't find any near your destination, then check with plugshare.
And I always check with the hotel before I arrive, since there isn't any service that provide real-time verification that the chargers are actually working...
