Want! It's a little tacky but I love the idea!

Great movie. As I walked up to my mailbox today I could hear Michael Caine's voice in my head from the film "The Prestige" when he says to Hugh Jackman's character "Obsession is a young man's game". Still no sign of my token of appreciation. Try again Tuesday.
I have not read every post in this thread, so I do not know if someone has suggested this earlier.
I know for the Model S and Model X, Tesla has made artist rendering prints (the Model S one has Franz '07) and given them out at certain times or events. So my guess is Tesla will send out a Model ≡ artist rendering print to those who reserved that first day.
From the comments that people have been making lately - I struggle to think that that an appreciation gift is going to happen at all.
I agree, I'm sure it'll happen, but it'll be delayed just like about anything else when it comes to Tesla. It's going to happen, it just may not be soon. Tesla has a lot more on their plate right now that does not include manufacturing/finding suppliers for over 10,000 appreciation gift sets. We just need to be patient.
No joke. I am guessing that artist's rendering in an 8x10. If they're lucky, it'll be sent flat or rolled.I also think that people on this board are speculating way too wildly as to what it might be.
I suppose that everyone is different, but a "rendering"? hmmm. I must be attracted to things of a totally different nature than everyone else. Anyone want mine? I'll send it to you.No joke. I am guessing that artist's rendering in an 8x10. If they're lucky, it'll be sent flat or rolled.
Good conversation piece for the office. No joke. I am guessing that artist's rendering in an 8x10. If they're lucky, it'll be sent flat or rolled.
Also cheap to make, sizing independent, and inexpensive to ship. And probably in line with a "token".Good conversation piece for the office.
Unless... it's an actual token! Wait wait wait, hear me out, imagine this, EM produces an actual token (like the ones you use at the casino) with a picture of a Model 3 on one side and... something creative on the other side! Also cheap to make, sizing independent, and inexpensive to ship. And probably in line with a "token".
I second this! How about free (or half price) supercharging?
I second this!
Free Supercharging for life for all those who waited in line.
Maybe they'll do something like Subaru does with its owner badges. Tesla could have an exclusive badge for those who reserved before the unveiling.
