Gray screen

Fast forward. My premium connectivity expired. (Can't renew, another story), OK, I know that ,it's on my screen. What I didn't know was my Color maps would go to gray screen. They take away color mapping. I went out last night, after it happened. The grey screen was so bright, even after setting to zero it's a safety issue. This is not funny, the bright glare of the grey screen is toooo bright. Period.
What kind of bs is this??? To change my color map because of not premium?????

Are you talking about the satellite view (aerial imagery)? Yes, that is part of premium connectivity. The other option is the map view so I guess by "gray screen" that's what you mean? That's not a security issue in itself... Some of us actually prefer the map view while driving You can always adjust the brightness of your screen if your screen is too bright.

He says ha adjusts it to zero, but it has no effect.

separate problem if adjusting brightness doesn'T change anything. Unless you are set to automatic for the brightness, you might need a reboot indeed.

I think the car automatically change the brightness of the screens, there is this section in the Display menu. I also use the grey-scale maps although I have lifetime premium connectivity
