Google Maps won’t share with Tesla

Until recently I never had this issue with my iPhone 14. Now my Google maps will not share with my Tesla. It doesn’t even show it as an option. Apple Maps works fine. I’ve deleted and reinstalled google maps and Tesla apps without success. Any other ideas?

On my Android, chart the route in Google maps, click the three dots to the right of the start and destination, and click share. If Tesla does not come up as a choice, you should have the option to manually search other apps to share directions with, and then add Tesla. It should then appear after you manually select it on subsequent share requests. I certainly am not an iPhone expert.

@gasemup - I had same issue, but found a fix. When I updated my Tesla app on iOS and it's no longer had a share target on google maps or apple maps... I then went and updated my iOS software and the share target is back in both apps. It must have been an API change and needs the latest software on both app and OS for it to work.
