Glove box latch failure

Both of my latches were stuck inside their holes. This post was incredibly simple and effective. Screwdriver getting them both out worked like a charm and avoided a service call. Thank you.

Just had the same problem - glove box wouldn't close. Exactly same cause as above - right hand latch had "stuck" inside the door liner. A gradual coaxing with a screwdriver head was all it took to pop both sides out - now working good as normal. Thanks so much for the information posted here - saved me a call to Service!

Same thing here. Got the quote from sc for 432 for replacing the whole glovebox. Found this post and just save myself $432. Awesome! Tks guys
