Just to be pedantic ... when they say Chicago, do they MEAN Chicago or do they mean Oak Brook?
I've mentioned in another thread that Tesla is inadvertantly confusing their reservation holders by referring to the GET AMPED Florida location as "Miami", because there will be a Miami Beach store, but it won't be available for this event.
It is possible that they are mislabeling the Illinois location as well if they really mean the Oak Brook store. However, one thing to remember is that they are going to use the location that has the best logistics for test drives. So if your Chicago service center is better logistically than your Oak Brook store, then that's were the event will likely be held.
I guess to know for sure you'll have to call your store and/or service center managers.
