When the top icon bar goes invisible, the calendar icon goes with it so the date is lost. Sigh...
Yeah, this is one of two things that bothers me about this update:
I love everything else about this update.
- Top bar slides up and away. I wish there was an option to have it persist (Is there one? maybe I missed it).
- Still no Spotify.
PleaseeeeCould somebody with 8.0 try logging into their Tune In account and see if that works now? Lots of us were having issues with being unable to login in 7.1 and prior; hoping 8 fixes this.
How does AP handle the highway off ramps and lane centering?

I'm currently on WiFi. If 8.0 is made available during the night, will it install automatically? Or does it require the user to initiate the download from the car?
Looks much better than my AP test drives. It's definitely improving. I can also tell it's not as good as it can get. I like the improvement, and yet it has more room for improvement.Posted a video of my initial impressions of Autopilot for those interested, will be doing some more videos specific to what they fixed and what they need to fix.
It will install automatically, I dont remember the default time however. If your car is set to update at 1am, and the update happens at 1:15 you will have to manually install.I'm currently on WiFi. If you have notifications configured in your app it will notify you. Just do a quick search on the forum for this.Do you get a notice on the app that's it's available? Or do I need to go and check the car?
Permanenty or just for this rollout?Rumor has it that Tesla closed the SC geofence/wifi upgrade priority "window", and made it a requirement that an RO (repair order) be open on your VIN for it to work.
I have had this work in the past, so... who knows.

I'm confident 8.0 is no different in how the update notification occurs and then installs in previous releases. If you have:Do you get a notice on the app that's it's available? Or do I need to go and check the car?
OK, an hour later, clock is still there. I gave it a reboot, and the clock is still there.
So I'm going for it. Update is installing now.
