I haven't seen any news about heat shields recently. But the Where is Webb? page has temperature data, so I assume if there were a problem with the heat shields we'd know about it by now.

I think it did that before. If I recall correctly it's best to not touch the screen at all while backing up, because the backup camera display goes away. I know it happened to me earlier this week and I'm pretty sure it was before I installed this update.

Quick note, I used the Victoria Supercharger yesterday (11th of May, 2018). The Supercharger worked fine. The hotel is still closed for renovations/repairs. The Stripes gas station/convenience store and the McDonald's are open for business.
