Factory tour was cool, and worth the wait!

Got the car afterwards and took my friend who drove me over there to sushi, then visited another friend in castro valley and headed home back to the peninsula, so about 50 miles total.

I got a nice goodie bag with an tesla branded umbrella, coffee mug, and pen.

JP Morgan Chase had an email waiting for me that night for a direct deposit of the VW buyback, I set that up, and should have the funds by Wednesday. Everything so far is smooth as glass. (just want the 8.1 update!!)

I think that's it for my VW escape thread. Hopefully it proved helpful to a few others.

Said bye bye to my TDI yesterday.

Sad to see it go. Now I have to wait 'til 12/28 because they pushed back my delivery date from 12/23
