I was at an EV Club meeting last night when the Operations Manager of the local electric utility gave a presentation on the construction with pictures and all. There were three or four Model S owners in the audience and we all kind of looked at each other with disbelief. Apparently, Tesla had asked the utility to keep it "top secret".

Sleeper! I guess Kingston has been a significant decoy for the last couple of months...

Looks like "under promise, over deliver" is kicking in...this is good!

I think Tesla just unveiled the "Ninja SC Team"...they work only under the cover of darkness. Any Tweets from Elon on this?

This is great news! I also like that you can get a personalized plate on a Tesla. I don't care for the green plates and also have an aversion to the 7 letter plates. lol.

It's a pretty good location. Had a nice lunch in the hotel restaurant (Ody's) while they were finishing up the install. Thanks again Matt for plugging us in while we were staying warm.
Met Ifhan, the GM of the Quality Hotel. He is really stoked about the whole SC venture. Here's to many happy super charges in Woodstock!!
