"Cybertruck" $1000 credit on an MY order, anyone got it?

The subject says it all. I'm the holder of a cybertruck reservation and received the "While you await delivery of your Cybertruck, get $1000 off purchase of a new Tesla" email. The email itself does not describe the way 1000 will be applied to the order. I've made an order for an inventory vehicle (MY) via a Tesla app and don't see any 1000 off in the purchase order docs. So therein lies the question, has anyone here got 1000 off successfully applied to their order?

Yes, the thread mentioned the discount not coming onto an order right away… feels strange, but ill wait and report in few…

Update. My MVPA in the documentation section of the Tesla App now has the $1000 discount applied on top of the other adjustment for the inventory vehicle purchase. Seems like it got processed via a batch job of some kind, without human interaction of any sort on either my or anyone else part. Thank you ucmndd for an informative link that to the answer that was just confirmed!

Just placed an order over the weekend for a new Y for my wife and I received $1,000 off the new car, it's listed as a referral credit . I have had a CT reservation since 11-23-2019.
