Controls greyed out when posting replies to threads

Can any mods tell me what’s going on.

For several days now, when replying to threads, the controls for including quotes, pasting smilies, bold text etc are all greyed out and I can’t use them.

Is it just me!

Press the 3 vertical dots in reply box then the [] button.

Either that or you run out of your post quota for the month

iPad Pro. The one I always use. Perhaps they get shut off after 4000 posts!

The 3 dots just bring up hidden controls that are also greyed out :-(

This is what I have in ipad pro. The three dots and the Bold doesn’t work. I normally use highlight which brings up reply and quote. It is been like this for sometime in my ipad Pro. Attached the picture.

Two button reset always works both for ipad and ipad on wheels

Which is how it’s meant to be. That’s BB mode which is toggled by the [] button. Bb mode does not allow formatting by buttons etc which is why they are greyed out.
