    Speed limit and warming chime

I noticed at the end of last week, that with AP set 60mph (current speed), my speed will drop to 40 mph and then to 30mph but will not automatically increase when the limits change back up. It’s always done it in the past. It must be a change in 2024.8.x Speed limit chime still working

Helvetia (& Tesla?) no longer offering extended warranties

I think some of you actually got an email inviting you to buy the warranty in April, once it was available. I didn’t get one.

Helvetia (& Tesla?) no longer offering extended warranties

@Durzel I sent an email to TeslaOps a week or so back quoting the warranty number and got a stock reply saying it was down to Tesla Europe to sort it out.

Helvetia (& Tesla?) no longer offering extended warranties

@Durzel Paid on 9th April got confirmation email on the 10th. Appeared in the app today or last night Warranty expired 26/3 but I emailed them originally 28/2

    Good bye

My 2018 Ioniq Electric was a good car. It did what it was supposed to do, very well. It was only let down by 137 miles (max) range. My Model 3 has a lot of features that didn’t exist on the Ioniq, but the Ioniq had features that the M3 could and should have had. The Ioniq 5 & 6 are worthy...

    Good bye

I think those of us who’ve been around 4 years and more have come to learn that “coming soon” and “upcoming” have come really means “coming eventually if at all possible” Eventually, the cons come to outweigh the pros Musk just laid off the entire supercharger team. Lord knows who else will...

…and now the U.K. and Europe are effectively paying more for FSD than the US !! https://apple.news/A45xYCF2KS7uQz4MQSFQUCA

My wipers behaved perfectly on a short outward journey wiping intermittently in light rain. Unfortunately, they continued to operate exactly the same on the return journey long after the rain had stopped. Enough said!

    [UK] Spring Software Update

TACC under vision only is not as good as it was under radar. It allows quite a gap to open up before it thinks abouts catching up. Used at night, it often closes the gap too much. But that’s Teslavision for you. Poor man’s radar…

    Security of Phone/Card/Key?

If you do buy faraday bags, be sure to test them regularly. After several months both the highly rated bags we bought, leaked sufficiently to open the car (not our Tesla). We bought a faraday tin a couple of years ago and that’s bullet proof.

    [UK] Spring Software Update

There are many 30 and 20 limits round here with cars parked to weave in and out of. A speed limiter is the perfect tool for the job. Cruise, and I’ve tried it, is a complete waste of time. It’s not designed for towns and villages. Teslavision is too scared of parked cars and pedestrians. Other...

    [UK] Spring Software Update

I’m not sure why the legislation says but I’d hope that it actually act as a ceiling and prevent the car exceeding the set limit. Having it just ‘bong’ is a waste of space. My 2012 Prius did that.

    [UK] Spring Software Update

I’d much prefer an update that sorted all the things that only work some of the time, gave us features that would be really useful, e.g. speed limiter, got rid of the things that should never happen and finally gave us everything we paid for. I just want a car that works, not a games machine...

    Battery life...

My 2020 3LRwould have been about 310 when new. I keep it 80% rightly or wrongly. 100% now is about 298 but last year during a holiday it showed 305 at 100% The actual mileage returned on that journey was closer to 320 as it was warm and I was light footed 😁

I’m still getting charges stopping with my Zappi that began in February. There seems to be greater sensitivity at the pilot pins Today the car charged for 7 minutes and reported charge stopped. Helvetia (& Tesla?) no longer offering extended warranties

My experience taking Tesla to court about FSD

Contrary to my recollection, I just discovered that I paid for FSD on my credit card My initial thoughts are to go down the route of section 75 to downgrade from FSD to EAP without the hassle of small claims court Is this a viable route?

    UK FSD Discussion

A months trial of not much as it stands, is unlikely to open the floodgates of orders for FSD. Those of you without USS won’t get summon but at least Autopark may work and in the right circumstances, auto lane change may choose to work. Over and above EAP, all it will do is stop at traffic...
