Any News on Yellow Screen Fix Tool?

My local service rep said that he will be getting the new tool to fix the yellow screen problem in the coming months. Has anyone heard anything more on this subject?

I opened a service req via the app stating I was aware of the issue, the proposed fix, and that it was likely weeks to months away. I made the appointment for as far out as the app would let me. They texted me back in a few days saying they were expecting it in a September. This is mid-Atlantic, eastern PA to be specific.

Based on Testhrowaway's post on the big thread regarding forcing Tesla to replace the screen, it didn't fix the problem anyway, only lightened it. A large number of us are dealing with Tesla in arbitration regarding this right now. As much as I love the car, I am not settling for a half assed fix on a car that received the problem 2 weeks after taking ownership of a brand new car, as nobody should.
