New to Tesla - My 2012 Model S screen won't turn on

Hey everyone …

So I bought this model S 2012 Tesla from a friend for a fair price bc he hadn’t drove it in 2-3 years BC 6 months after he bought it , the screen went out …

(I assumed/ hoped the other battery was just dead causing the inside of the car not to work right )

But after putting a replacement battery in to test my hypothesis, the main screen still didn’t work…

I also tried holding down both buttons on steering wheel, and got nothing ….

So current list of problems are below :
1) Center screen doesn’t work.
2) car won’t connect to app/show on Bluetooth.
3) no radio, or anything else inside the car …

All it will let u do is somewhat charge (super slow at home)…
And it will let u put in P,D,R….
So it’s like I’m driving a skeleton of a cool car …

Anyone have any experience with these problems?..

I herd some people can connect to ur car thru the internet and fix the problems…

So if something like that is possible it would be awesome bc we are 5-6 hours away from a dealership…

Sounds like a hardware issue so don't think you'll get any remote fix for this. You're going to likely have to take it into Telsa.
