Did anyone notice that the "Hacker Princess" @KristinPaget quietly left #Tesla? What happened to the team of 30 security genuises?

I googled the phone # tweeted, and it does belong to the guy mentioned. The first link (his blog) has a posting that says:

"Currently receiving about 5 phone calls a minute about a "free Tesla". A free car is NOT being offered, please stop calling."

People are so gullible. Or bored.

Because it's easier for the folks who share social media duty to use a simple (ie, easy to guess) password so no one forgets it?

Easiest solution is for a company to have a designated mobile phone for such things (negligible cost for a company that may have 100s of phones or more on its accounts). Keep phone locked up when not in use, or have designated person on duty carry it.

For Google services, Google has a code generator that works like an RSA token. The code seed QR code can be scanned by multiple devices.

Impressive that it wasn't taken down in mere minutes. This is definitely going to be an embarrassment.

What would be even more impressive is if someone hacks far enough to force all MSs to accelerate at full speed wherever they are even if they're parked in their garages. Can you imagine 60K+ Model Ss all crashing at the same time no matter where they are or what they're doing?
